Commissioned by the Illinois Housing and Development Authority, in partnership with the Illinois Housing Council, I built the identity for their annual affordable housing conference around one image: roofs against a blue sky, tied to the independence and pride that come with owning a home. A kite became the lead image and set the direction for the whole system — electronic invitations, a multi-page printed invitation and program, signage, badges, and a looping visual presentation that ran throughout the opening evening.
